Why was my School Principal simply Sitting without doing any Work?

Have you ever judged your Principal like this at your Schools or Colleges?

Might/Might not be Yes.

But I did this when I was in school. To be frank, usually, I think about my school principal,

“Why is she simply sitting always?

Doesn’t she have any work except scolding my teachers?

Only work she does in my school is coming round to all the classes at a time in a day.” 

I apologize to my beloved School Principals for judging like this.

I didn’t realize their effort till I reached some position in my life. Once I came to understand the actual situation of a Principal, I felt that it was tough to handle that seat. They are the sole responsibility for the result of the entire school children and everything.

This is how we judge others without knowing their pain, effort, losses, etc.,

Examples of judging others

As I said about my Principal, I made the same mistake with my boss during the initial stages of my employment.

I was thinking like,

“Why is he giving all the work to others?

Why can’t he do even a single task?

Why can’t he teach me without scolding me for the mistakes?

Why should we maintain office timings when he is not?”

Even with MD,

“Why is he not satisfied with any of our results?

Why can’t he sit and do the work in my position and realize the realities?”

Likewise, I was so judgemental towards everyone without understanding their responsibilities. 

Everyone has their responsibility and hardness inside. 

My boss was the sole responsibility for the result of our entire team and our mistakes too. He is answerable to MD for the non-growth of the business.

MD is also the same. He is a professional responsible for the successful leadership and management of the company’s business. He must have sacrificed so many things in his life to reach this position, and as an MD now, he has his duties and responsibilities towards the organization.

So we must understand this before judging anyone.

Why Do People Judge Others?

Judging others reveals your character because it shows your inabilities, insecurities, and your weakness as well.

“When you judge others, you do not define them; you define yourself.”

While seeing others’ growth or activities, if you are judging negatively, it shows your inability.

Wrap-Up

“It is so easy to be judgmental of others than assessment.”

Judgment stops you from understanding the exact situation of others. Most of the judgments about people are based on incomplete information received from another person who is not related to them.

Sometimes I wonder what’s going on when some people give their judgment about others who are strange.

So you must try to understand everyone’s situation. Though you can’t understand, at least try not to judge anyone with your perception.
